Changes to the Appointment System
In
recent surveys, you have told us that you want to be able to book further in
advance, but that you also want to keep the opportunity to be seen quickly for
urgent problems.
From 7th June 2010, you will be able to book an appointment with a doctor up to
4 weeks in advance.
We will be creating an urgent assessment service which
will be able to see patients with urgent problems on the same day .To improve
patient safety, this service will be based at Glenpark Medical Centre. There
will be no urgent appointments at the Health Centre
There will be no change to the number of appointments at the Health Centre.
We will be creating over 600 extra appointments per year and nearly 4000 extra
telephone appointments.

Extended Hours
We have extended the opening hours at Glenpark Medical Centre. From 26 June 2008,
the surgery will be offering early morning appointments on Monday and Thursday,
and later evening appointments on Wednesdays. [Click here

We now offer online ordering of prescriptions
Save time and order your repeat prescriptions when it suits you. Online ordering
is quick, easy and available 24 hours a day. Most importantly it is secure. Simply
collect your prescription either from us 48 hours later, or your medicines from
your chosen chemist (if you have specified a chemist) 72 hours later.
