Cervical Smears
Women should have routine cervical smears taken every three years until
they reach the age of 65. In some circumstances, we may advise you to have a
smear done more regularly. Normally, you will receive a reminder letter from
the Contractor Services Agency.
If you wish to have a smear taken, please telephone either surgery to
arrange an appointment with one of our Practice Nurses.
You will be informed by the Contractor Services Agency of your cervical
smear result. If you have any queries regarding your result, please
telephone the surgery and ask to speak to a Practice Nurse.
